Excellent as always! I am very happy that I found Dr. Maude. He is honest and does fantastic unhurried dental work. His dental work shows that he is committed to his patients oral health and wellness . Working along with Dr. Maude he has an office of friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff members. Finally, his office is clean and inviting which is why Dr. Maude and his staff deserve nothing less than 5 stars. Thank you Dr Maude for work well done.

My whole family loves Dr. Maude & his staff ! Always friendly, they make you feel like your family. This is one of those special dentist offices that you take your kids to and years later they still don’t mind going to the dentist. If you need the loving care of a great dentist, hygienist and office staff, this is your place!

I just had my first dental work done with Dr. Maude. All my life I have had trouble getting numb for dental work and have often needed to get many injections during work to stop the pain. I told Dr Maude this before he started and he mixed up some amazing solution, gave it to me once in a few places to make sure it covered all the nerves, and I never suffered any pain during the procedure. This is the first time that this has ever happened. His assistant, Andrea, was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do when and how to help assist. She made and put on the temporary crown for me and did a wonderful job of fitting it. Next, I has Vanessa clean my teeth. Usually, my gums are screaming after a cleaning. She was so gentle, but thorough. She took her time to make sure all the stains from my past smoking habit were removed. Then she also noticed I had dry mouth and recommended a special rinse I could use and gave me some free samples.I could not recommend Dr Maude and his staff more highly. They are amazing, gentle, kind, and accommodating. Finally I won’t dread going to get dental work!

The Dream Dentist! Before I begin, allow me to clarify that I am an Anti Dentite (Seinfeld)! I simply cannot stand dentists. Soon or late, I end up in a fight with them. Dentists, like politicians and diapers, eventually become so full of themselves, that’s why they need to be changed once a while! I had my history of nightmare dentists, some had no clue what they were doing, some ended up becoming “Cash Registers” ching ching, and some ended up being “High Sea Pirates”! The long story short, dentists are like wormed apples, delicious on the outside but rotten to the core inside! Soon or late you find out that either they are incompetent or crooks and possibly both! On the bright side, I got some good news for you! As a journalist, after a lengthy research and experiment, I have discovered “The Salvation”! I have found a Jewel of a Man! How odd to find a spark of hope in this sea of infested quagmires! I have finally found a reliable, responsible, knowledgeable, educated, moral, decent, modest, funny, friendly, down to earth and lovely dentist! Can you believe it?! Not that Dr. Michael Maude is well over qualified, yet he is actually a human! Believe me, he is not a robot, bandit, pirate or a shrewd businessman! The secret to his success is that primarily he actually knows what he is doing, secondarily, he is down to earth friendly and third, as a decent human being, he provides you the best results for your money. The man got two branches, history of experience, tons of satisfied patients, lovely attitude and on top of it all, he is a gardener with a garden full of fruit trees who brings the fruits of his labor (literally) to the office and shares it with his patients! I’m a gardener, how can you be a gardener and then not to have a pleasant personality?! Gardeners are delightful! The main reason that I have chosen him as my dentist was that he does everything from minor dental work to complicated root canals, from pulling teeth to cosmetic work, from crowning to deep cleaning, from window cleaning to equipment repair, from software configuration to computer applications operation and from preparing the fruits to serving them! This guy is a one man show! Unless the job is terribly complicated, he does not shift you to other dentists to pull a tooth, root canal or minor surgery! This way, your time does not get wasted and you can get everything done in one office. I do not have time to roam around town and I want to get things done in one place, that’s why I love this guy. So far I had 5 sessions with him, he has done X-Ray, checkup, diagnosis, made a complete special plan for me, special deep cleaning on my bottom jaw, antibiotic packs, pulled a wisdom tooth, cleaned and crowned another one, and delighted me with his lovely character and friendly chats. Dr. Michael Maude has a great team working with him. Andrea the Dental Assistant is funny, lovely and professional. Kaitlin the Office Manager is very helpful and resourceful. The rest of the team are also good in what they do. The moral of the story is that as an obsessive compulsive perfectionist, I have found my latest discovery as my special dentist. He has passed my test drive. He is a detail oriented, caring perfectionist; furthermore, he is a decent and a moral human being. You should take advantage of Dr. Maude; get some of him while it lasts because unlike his fruits, old school, decent, top notch dentists like him do not grow on trees. Get some Maude in your life before he all runs out!

I can’t believe how nice a dentist visit can actually be. I’ve been going to the same dentist since I was 5, and then he retired several years ago and Dr. Maude took over the business. I was apprehensive about the change in ownership, but it turned out to be a great move!! Dr. Maude is just fantastic. It wasn’t until recently that I had to have actual dental work done (before it was only teeth cleanings up to this point), and Dr Maude assured me that the process was going to be smooth, effortless, and virtually pain free. He was great in that he explained the entire process as we went through it and he even stopped to make sure I didn’t have any questions. Couldn’t ask for a more caring dentist. Not to mention that the rest of the staff is absolutely incredible too! They all treat me like family and they’re always keeping up on my life; it’s nice to have that type of professional and friendly customer service from a dentist’s office. Couldn’t ask for more from a dental office.

Dr. Maude is amazing at his job and yet incredibly humble. EXPLAINS what you will most likely feel, what is being done while it’s being done, constantly asking if you are ok or need a break, THANKING me for being patient (like what? Thank YOU for not torturing me), making me laugh during the procedure to calm me down, very sensitive and perceptive to body language. Environment: Small office, welcoming super nice warm, GREAT MUSIC, laid back, professional yet fun. THE PEOPLE ARE SO NICE! and super hilarious. Everyone working seems to want to be there which says a lot. Recommendation: If you have ever been afraid of the dentist because of a bad experience or cause dental work sucks in general give him a visit. You will finally stop your teeth from rotting further AND actually look forward to getting work done cause you CAN TRUST THIS MAN.

I hate, I hate, I hate going to the dentist. At least until I met Dr. Maude. I was recommended to him and now I will not go anywhere else. I think I have a sensitive mouth/teeth and past dentists have been less than gentle which led to me not going for longer than I should have. He did a root canal and fixed a few cavities (too much soda as a kid) and he and his staff always watch over you asking if you are okay, making sure it doesn’t hurt or cause discomfort, and before you know it, you are done. I won’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Maude is an excellent dentist!!! Plus, he has an excellent staff and a very nice office environment. All together, makes visiting the dentist a good experience. I recommended him to my 60+ yr. old neighbor and he thanks me after every visit — says Dr. Maude is the best dentist he’s ever had in his whole life.

I just had 2 fillings done by Dr. Maude at Rancho Penasquitos location. I wonder why I had to go to another dentist, whose location is far away, for 13 years whose workmanship is much more inferior to Dr Maude. Dr. Maude spent about 5 times more time to make sure the filling to shape a perfect bite; and polish them to sparkling smooth, and shine. Hands down. I give him another 5 stars.
